In osteoarthritis as a lubricant for joints
Hi-Aqua™
hyaluronic acid
A part of our body
Hyaluronic acid is an important, natural component of our body and is found in various types of connective tissues and joint fluids.
Moisturizers and lubricants
Hyaluronic acid powder binds large amounts of water and forms gel-like structures when combined with water. It acts as a moisturizer and lubricant in the body.
Additional need with age
With increasing age, the availability of hyaluronic acid in the body decreases. To prevent wrinkled skin and painful joints, hyaluronic acid is supplied to the body in various dosage forms.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of our body and can be found in various connective tissues or joint fluids.
Hyaluronic acid is characterized by its ability to bind many times more water. In combination with water, it forms a gel-like structure, and this stable structure enables hyaluronic acid to perform a number of important functions in our body. Examples include its function as a lubricant in joints, moisturizer, soothing effect on itchy and red eyes, or healing effect on skin irritations and injuries.
There are no known side effects or allergic reactions.
In order to supply the body with additional hyaluronic acid, various manufacturing processes have been developed.
Our Hi-AquaTM hyaluronic acid is produced in a natural fermentation process. In this process, proteins and yeasts are fermented in a natural way. That is why this type of hyaluronic acid is called vegetarian hyaluronic acid.
The advantage here is that the hyaluronic acid is much purer in its production and easier to control than in conventional production from animal components. This process also produces higher molecular weights, which opens up a wide range of possible applications.
Hi-AquaTM gels are transparent and have a low to very high viscosity, depending on the concentration and type.
Hyaluronic acid has various functions in the body. It is mainly found in cartilage and connective tissue and is essential for cell division. Its ability to bind water is outstanding. For comparison, one gram of hyaluronic acid can bind up to six liters of water. The molecule, which is structured like a ball of wool, is mainly used to store water in the connective tissue. In addition, hyaluronic acid adheres particularly well and for a long time to the surface of tissues due to chemical interactions, and its moisturizing effect promotes wound healing. In the joints, hyaluronic acid acts as a lubricant with every movement.
Hyaluronic acid is very popular in cosmetics. Hyaluronic acid is often used in the form of supplements or creams, for injection into wrinkles, to treat scars or to cushion bumps under the skin.
Since hyaluronic acid also occurs naturally in the body, it is tolerated very well.
In nasal sprays to moisten dry nasal mucous membranes
In lozenges for moistening the mouth and throat
In eye surgery, for example, to fill the vitreous body
HYALURONIC ACID POWDER FOR COSMETICS PRODUCTION
Hi-Aqua™ powder
Due to its high water-binding properties and the associated long-lasting moisturizing properties, hyaluronic acid plays a central role in the manufacture of cosmetic products. A large number of anti-aging products, especially anti-aging creams, are very popular with customers. In these products, the highly viscous hyaluronic acid forms flexible films that prevent the skin from losing water and drying out. They keep the skin in shape day and night by filling in and hiding small wrinkles.
Our Hi-AquaTM cosmetic hyaluronic acid is available in various molecular weights and qualities.
retention of moisture
against skin aging
prevents dehydration
padding of small wrinkles
Hi-Aqua™
POWDER
In order to prevent diseases of the joints and skin aging due to dehydration, it is advisable to keep the hyaluronic acid level constantly high in the body.
From the age of 25, the body’s own production decreases. Therefore, it is recommended to take hyaluronic acid through food or supplements.
Here hyaluronic acid food but also formulations with hyaluronic acid of all kinds such as capsules, drinks or edible films are helpful.
